The train-the-trainer bootcamp event, held on the 17th of April in The Hague, was a great success. The event is part of the FOSTER Open Science bootcamp series.

The Essentials 4 Data Support course will reoccur in the autumn. This is an introductory course for those who (want to) support researchers in storing, managing, archiving and sharing their research data.

Over 50,000 new collection descriptions and 25,000 updates were added to the EHRI portal last month. The EHRI portal focuses on Holocaust related archives.

At the beginning of this year, a policy document was published on the role and objectives of DANS with regard to the social sciences. The roots of DANS lie in the social sciences and humanities and these disciplines play a central role in the services that DANS provides and the projects in which DANS is involved. DANS will continue and deepen many of the social science projects in the coming year.
