DANS is the national expertise centre and repository for research data. We help researchers make their data available for reuse. This way, scientists can use the data for new research and published research is verifiable and repeatable. With over 360,000 datasets and a staff of fifty, DANS is one of the most prominent repositories in Europe.

Vacancies

We are looking for an inspiring and enterprising Director with a clear vision for research data and data archiving within the research landscape. A connecting leader with strategic leadership experience, an affinity with open science and data infrastructure, and attention to the people and culture within the organisation.

The Director will play an important role in implementing the DANS Strategy 2026–2028 and in strengthening our position as a link between research, policy and infrastructure.
