The Dutch Cultural Heritage Agency (RCE) and DANS decided to use DataverseNL from April 2021 as the new DCCD portal for depositing, downloading and (inter) nationally disseminating tree-ring data.

Until 11 August 2020 it is possible to comment on a deliverable of the project FAIRsFAIR – Fostering FAIR Data Practices in Europe. This feedback will be included in the new version, which will be released at the end of August.

On July, 17, 2020, DANS has joined OpenAIRE Legal Entity (LE) as a regular member. This means that DANS will remain involved with OpenAIRE even after the current OpenAIRE Advance project, funded by Horizon 2020, has ended. OpenAIRE Advance is set to run until the end of February 2021.

The RDA COVID-19 Working Group of the Research Data Alliance publishes the final version of their Recommendations and Guidelines for the sharing and reuse of COVID-19 related research data.
