On 20 May 2021, Ricarda Braukmann (Data Station Manager Social Sciences at DANS) presented an updated version of the report on RDA and its potential for the social sciences at IASSIST Global Virtual Conference.

Stichting Batavialand has digitised the paper (naval) archaeological excavation documentation of the former maritime depot of the Cultural Heritage Agency. This special collection is now fully accessible via DANS.

On April 21, the FAIRsFAIR project organised the first of a series of webinars that aim to support repositories to make the data they manage more FAIR. The webinar, co-organised by DANS, was about persistent identifiers (PIDs) and methods to connect PIDs, the PID Graph.
