On Tuesday, February 19, 2019, there will be an introductory meeting for starting researchers on the use of CBS Microdata. During the meeting insight is provided into the available Microdata, the practical process to work with the data, and the conditions and costs. The event introduces researchers to CBS Microdata in an accessible way.

Visit the DANS open day on open science on February 14, 2019. Together with the Young Academy of the KNAW, Promovendi Netwerk Nederland and the Horizon 2020 project OpenAIRE, DANS organizes this afternoon about research data management, data archiving and data re-use. The day is specially organized for (young) scientists and data librarians.

The FAIRsFAIR proposal, coordinated by DANS, has been selected by the European Commission and has now entered the stage of contract preparation. The start of the three-year project is 1st of March 2019.

A new thematic collection is accessible in EASY: the 12th census of the 31st of May 1947.

The Dutch event on Humanities and Social Science: SYNERGY conference 2019, will take place on the 7th of February. Keynote speakers, experts, and young talent will debate the full spectrum of research on humanities and social sciences.
