From April 5 to 30, ACS Spring 2021 will take place. The American Chemical Society (ACS) Meetings & Expositions are meeting places for chemistry professionals to exchange ideas and advance scientific and technical knowledge. On April 14, DANS will provide two presentations on FAIR and TRUST for the Division of Chemical information track.

SciDataCon 2021 is part of International Data Week (IDW) 2021, which is organised by the International Science Council’s Committee on Data (CODATA), the World Data System (WDS) and the Research Data Alliance (RDA) from 8 to 11 November 2021. Session proposals for SciDataCon 2021 can be submitted until 30 April 30.

On 25 March, three useful tools for heritage institutions were launched by the Dutch Digital Heritage Network (NDE). These Dutch tools are: Wegwijzer Digitale Duurzaamheid, Wegwijzer Voorkeursformaten and Wegwijzer Certification.

Under the banner of the EOSC-hub project, in which DANS takes care of disseminating good data practices, over 80 Israeli participants were introduced to FAIR data, open science practices, and the developments around the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC).
