On March 24, 2020, DANS and the LCRDM organize “Food for Psychologists”, an event specifically for researchers in psychology, with tools, tips and tricks in the field of Research Data Management and data sharing.

Starting from 1st January 2020, NWO will update its data management protocol, reinforcing its longstanding commitment to Open Science and emphasizing the importance of responsible data management.

From January onwards, DANS will increase the open access options for depositing data in EASY.

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that the General Terms and Conditions of Use for EASY will be updated January 9th 2020.

The United Nations declared the ‘International Volunteer Day’ on the 5th of December. In the Netherlands this day will be celebrated tomorrow, on the 7th of December. It is a day set up by the volunteer organizations of the United Nations to show and promote volunteer work worldwide. Data on volunteers and their work can also be found in EASY.

The Amsterdam UMC is the first hospital in Europe to make data on intensive care patients available for research. The anonymized data is deposited in EASY.

This year’s program of OpenMR Benelux 2020 has been confirmed. The conference is aimed at researchers who work with Open MRI Science data.

OpenAIRE stands for Open Access Infrastructure for Research in Europe. The purpose of OpenAIRE is to support the Open Science policy of the European Commission. The EC wants publications and datasets that are funded with European research funding to be open access. The web page of the Research Data Management task force contains a large number of products that support the open access to research data.
