On Thursday 14 November, we welcome the research support community, policymakers, and researchers to join us in The Hague for the DANS Open Day. An inspiring event dedicated to Open Data & Open Science and its principles. In addition to various lectures by renowned speakers, there will be a series of workshops throughout the day, with plenty of time and space to meet and talk to each other.

The ODISSEI Portal combines metadata from a wide variety of research data repositories such as Statistics Netherlands (CBS) and LISS panel into a single interface, allows advanced semantic queries to support findability, and facilitates data access. In this webinar, we will dive into using the ODISSEI Portal for research purposes.

The theme of this symposium of the Dutch Reproducibility Network will be “The Future of Reproducibility”. Participants will think about the role that reproducibility and replication will play in different fields of research and what a post- (reproducibility) crisis future might look like.

ODISSEI connects researchers with the necessary data, expertise and resources to conduct ground-breaking research and embrace the computational turn in social enquiry. This conference seeks to bring together a community of computational social scientists to discuss data, methods, infrastructure, ethics and theoretical work related to digital and computational approaches in social science research. Registration is now open.

The Netherlands Research Integrity Network (NRIN), in collaboration with the Dutch Reproducibility Network (NLRN), warmly invites you to attend the Research Symposium, with the central theme ‘Open Science: Bridging Gaps, Building Capacities, Harmonising Standards.’ This event is open to the Dutch academic community.
