These sensor data offer new opportunities for research, but also bring their own specific problems and challenges. At the ‘LEF Future Center’ in Utrecht, participants, together with a number of experience experts, will delve deeper into especially the ethical and legal aspects of using data from sensors.

The aim of this event, hosted by RDNL, is to present the FAIR principles in Dutch national and institutional data management policies, as well as promote the outcomes and ongoing work of the FAIR-IMPACT project to the research community, by an interactive day with a keynote, workshops and the awarding of the RDNL Dutch Data Prize.

FAIR and Open data RDM Training & Outreach

The Centre for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS) and the Centre for Digital Scholarship of the Leiden University Libraries are organising this workshop. It will examine the value of shared data and inform the usability and usefulness of data within and across different communities. They are bringing together data infrastructures, researchers, and data stewards to discuss and brainstorm about key questions related to barriers and drivers for reusing data. Ricarda Brauckmann of DANS is one of the guest speakers.
