Information scientist Herbert van de Sompel, who is currently spending his sabbatical year at DANS, has been named the 2017 recipient of the Paul Evan Peters Award.

DANS has joined the Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) this week, becoming its newest Associate member.

Dryad and DANS announce a new collaboration to ensure long-term preservation and accessibility to curated scientific data.
