Results from a collaboration between RDA Europe, FAIRsFAIR, OpenAIRE, FREYA and EOSC-hub have just been published in Patterns in an article entitled Recommendations for Services in a FAIR Data Ecosystem.

FAIRsFAIR surveyed 66 currently active service providers, repository managers, data services managers, and users to discover their thoughts and opinions about the FAIR certification of repositories and other data services.

This autumn, a new round of the course Essentials 4 Data Support will start. Essentials 4 Data Support is an introductory course for those who (want to) support researchers in storing, managing, archiving and sharing their research data.

The Dutch Cultural Heritage Agency (RCE) and DANS decided to use DataverseNL from April 2021 as the new DCCD portal for depositing, downloading and (inter) nationally disseminating tree-ring data.

On July, 17, 2020, DANS has joined OpenAIRE Legal Entity (LE) as a regular member. This means that DANS will remain involved with OpenAIRE even after the current OpenAIRE Advance project, funded by Horizon 2020, has ended. OpenAIRE Advance is set to run until the end of February 2021.
