In addition to the highly structured and proactive approach to coordination, the emphasis on collaboration and co-creation was woven into the structure of the project.”

The workshop shall take place in the afternoon of the 7th of July at the WUR Campus (Omnia building) in Wageningen.

Integrating DANS metadata in the EHRI-portal

On the website of the EHRI-project a blog is posted that describes how metadata provided by DANS was integrated into the EHRI-Portal. The intention was to create a fully automated “pipeline” between the DANS data catalogue and the EHRI-Portal.

Oral History: making art stories accessible

Museums have unique recordings of spoken stories about artworks in their archives, but this ‘oral history’ is often difficult to access. DANS is one of the partners in the project Oral History – Stories at the Museum around Artworks (OH-SMArt). In this project, researchers from various Dutch institutions will greatly improve this accessibility. The project is financed by the Platform Digital Infrastructure for Social Sciences and Humanities (PDI-SSH).
