Third edition FAIR data stewardship (for the life sciences) course

18 February 2021

In March, Helis Academy will host the third edition of the FAIR data stewardship (for the life sciences) course. DANS is also part of the programme.

This introductory course is intended for researchers, data stewards and all others interested in the topic of FAIR data stewardship. Cees Hof (DANS) will speak about data archiving on 29 March.

The course will introduce researchers, data stewards and experts in the field of data stewardship to different areas of research data management and technologies that facilitate the process of creating and maintaining FAIR research data. It also introduces participants to key concepts of data stewardship and the data steward competency framework. It starts with a general introduction to the data life cycle and FAIR data principles.

The training is organised by the  Dutch Techcentre for Life Sciences and is given as a joint effort of DTL partners. It is part of the Data Analysis and Stewardship theme of Helis Academy and is organised by DTL and DTL staff. It is available online via Zoom and covers six half days on 17, 18, 22, 24, 29 and 31 March.
