Since 2005, Internet Day is celebrated every year on 29 October. Internet Day wants to show the possibilities that new technologies offer to improve the standard of living by giving people a better understanding of technology and its functions. The Helis Academy Course: FAIR Data Stewardship – digital data scholarship for life sciences – aims to improve FAIR data stewardship in the life sciences. This three-day course will focus on various aspects of data stewardship, the data life cycle, and the FAIR principles.

The first FAIR terminology workshop was held in Paris on 20 and 21 May. This week the participants meet again at DANS in The Hague, from 16 to 18 October.
