Let your voice be heard! DANS launches Dutch survey for heritage sciences

22 March 2022

DANS has launched a survey in the framework of the E-RIHS.nl consortium to map out the Dutch heritage sciences. We invite members of the network to fill out the survey and to share their needs regarding the E-RIHS.nl network.

Currently, DANS is working on the Dutch project “Samenwerken aan en met Data: Digilab en FAIR” within the framework of E-RIHS.nl. E-RIHS is European Research Infrastructure Heritage Science. The Dutch branch of this European initiative is a consortium in formation with the aim of preserving heritage science in a sustainable way and making it accessible for future generations.

Within this project, DANS is working on an inventory of the current types of data and infrastructures in the heritage science domain in the Netherlands. It is also creating an overview of the data management needs of the E-RIHS.nl partners. To get a first impression of this landscape, DANS interviewed all partners in 2021. As a follow-up to these interviews, DANS has conducted a survey in order to gain more insight into the data landscape and in particular the wishes and needs for data management within this data landscape.

Fill in the survey

We kindly invite those who are interested in this field to participate in this survey. It will take approximately 25 minutes to complete the survey. By filling out the survey, you will not only help us with a detailed mapping of the data landscape, but it will also give us the opportunity to make useful recommendations on the needs and wishes of and for the E-RIHS.nl network, which will contribute to the success of the network. Note that the survey is only available in Dutch.
