Dataverse Community meeting 2020

18 June 2020

This week, the Dataverse Community Meeting will be held, an annual event where Dataverse developers, administrators and users meet up and share experiences. Of course, DANS is taking part.

As in the case of open source software, the Dataverse Community Meetings are organised by the community itself. Being part of this community, DANS is actively contributing to the event.

Wednesday 17 June

During the plenary session on Global COVID-19 Data Sharing, Slava Tychonov will present his (voluntary) work for the CoronaWhy community. Later on Wednesday, as part of the Lightning Video Presentations from Dataverse Repositories Worldwide, DANS will show a video showcasing its services and projects featuring Dataverse.

Thursday 18 June

At the Sensitive Data/DataTags session, Laura Huis in ’t Veld will present the DataTags recommendation tool, which was developed in the context of the EOSC Hub project. Subsequently, Slava Tychonov will facilitate a breakout session on DevOps / Installation Deployments / Automated Testing.
