The Data Stewards Interest Group (DSIG) brings together data stewards and others interested in the field of Research Data Management and Data Stewardship to network and exchange information. The group is chaired by Irina van Dijk (UMC Utrecht) with assistance from Mijke Jetten (DTL) who coordinate the group’s activities.
Six times a year a (virtual) meeting is held to discuss various topics in an hour and a half. Each time, one of the involved organisations hosts the meeting, and in December, DANS will be the host. During the meeting on 9 December, Data Station Managers Ricarda Braukmann and Cees Hof will talk to the group about training materials and activities focused on data stewardship.
