BY-COVID project releases factsheet and newsletter

BY-COVID released a factsheet including information about the key goals, activities, and outcomes of the project. Subscribe to the newsletter to keep up to date with the project.

The BY-COVID factsheet was developed to provide the public and stakeholders with an effective overview of the project’s aims, activities and results. The factsheet also outlines the scope of the project, which involves 53 partners from 19 countries over a 36 month period. Apart from the outline of the project, the factsheet also aims to show the importance of FAIR data and how it will help combat disease, develop medicines and other products.

Newsletter

Recently a newsletter was launched, which will provide quarterly updates about the project, engagement opportunities, upcoming COVID-19 related events and more. Special issues will occasionally be sent when important milestones are achieved.

The BeYond-COVID (BY-COVID) project launched in October of 2021 with the aim to ‘provide comprehensive open data on SARS-CoV-2 and other infectious diseases across scientific, medical, public health and policy domains’. Read more about the project here. 

DANS is involved in three work packages (WPs), concerning socio-economic data sources; a demonstrator project; as well as engagement, training and capacity-building. Read more about the collaboration here.
