On July 30, the International Day of Friendship takes place. The International Day of Friendship was proclaimed in 2011 by the UN General Assembly with the idea that friendship between peoples, countries, cultures and individuals can inspire peace efforts and build bridges between communities. In our digital archive EASY, datasets and publications about friendship can be found and reused.

For example the dataset “Friendships and social relations in multi-racial school classes 1986“. This dataset contains information about inter-ethnic friendships and social relations of primary school pupils related to ethnic perception of teachers and nature of school curriculum.
