10 November | DataverseNL is a research data repository service, DANS offers to universities and research institutes to document and publish their data. It facilitates making research data FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable). DANS manages the technical infrastructure, the participating institutions are responsible for the management of the deposited data in their dataverses within DataverseNL.

Thursday, November 10, 15.00 – 17.00 the VU Research Data Support team and the Library of the PThU  organise, together with DANS, a workshop to inform researchers and staff of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU) about the ins and outs of DataverseNL. During this workshop, participants will learn about the application’s features, how to use DataverseNL, and for which data working with DataverseNL is most suitable. Besides an introduction, the workshop will offer hands-on training by DANS-experts, and concludes with time for questions.

This will be an introductory course for all VU and PThU researchers, research assistants and data stewards, no prior knowledge is needed. Working language is English
