“Dutch Designs: Innovation in Library, Museum and Information Services in the Netherlands” is a honours student programme organised by the i-School of the University of Washington Seattle. DANS is one of the location the group of about 25 students visits. We will present the students with our experiences in Research Data Management. The course itself will examine how innovation works in library, information, and museum services, practices, and designs, particularly in the Netherlands.

the 2nd IPERION HS Doctoral Summer School (HS-DSS) is aimed at providing examples of excellence in heritage science in the environmental impact on built heritage ad its digitalization.

The Summer School builds competence in data analysis and security for participants from all disciplines and/ or backgrounds from sciences to humanities. Topics to be covered include principles and practice of research data management, authorship in the 21st century, data curation, data security, Open Science, visualization, machine learning and artificial neural networks.

The IFLA Library Services for Multicultural Populations (MCULTP) Satellite event will present library workers with the tools to build, sustain, and strengthen a diverse and inclusive workplace through a variety of presentations and panel discussions. This Satellite aims to hold a forum for all library workers, to establish mutual understanding through hearing others’ voices.

With the theme Let’s work together, let’s library, we explore how libraries can contribute to an inclusive society, one in which everyone has the opportunity to participate. Key topics include personal development, the stimulation of reading, the development of language and digital skills, free access to culture, digital knowledge and innovation.
