As part of the SSHOC project, DANS is involved in a workshop on the RDM training & support catalogue landscape. In this workshop, a number of EOSC projects (EOSC-Pillar, SSHOC, FAIRsFAIR, EOSC Future, EOSC Secretariat) and training communities of OpenAIRE and ELIXIR come together to exchange experiences on the development and maintenance of training catalogues developed in the different projects. In this workshop, DANS presents the SSH Training Discovery Toolkit, in which training providers from the social sciences and humanities can find relevant materials.
DANS will also host several sessions within the FAIRsFAIR project. During the demonstration sessions “Facilitating FAIR Awareness Training” a new functionality of the FAIR-Aware tool will be launched. With this new feature trainers or other interested parties can use the FAIR-Aware tool for their own participant group and analyse the results quickly and easily. The demonstration sessions will guide the audience through this process step by step. In cooperation with NI4OS, DANS will also give a presentation on FAIR semantics, called “Speaking FAIR implementation: moving from recommendations to supporting practical implementation by services provider”.
The session “Best practices for online training” is hosted by DANS within the EOSC Synergy project. EOSC Synergy offers a wide range of practical tools for the research community and trainers. It is the goal of the project team to contribute to sustaining open science practices and strengthening skills for better science. The objective of the lightning talk is to showcase the training materials and resources and inspire trainers to use them for their training activities.
