RDNL MOOC on Delivering Research Data Management Services

The MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) on Delivering Research Data Management Services is received with great enthusiasm. In the MOOC, experts from Research Data Netherlands (RDNL) and Digital Curation Center (DCC) provide insights about data management. Participants from more than 80 countries participate in the RDNL online course.

A great part of the course is dedicated to mutual discussion and input from the participants. Frequently discussed topics are Data Management Planning (DMP) and data management. The discussions led to the conclusion that senior management is often insufficiently involved in the data management process.
