Programme Dutch Data Prize 2018 announced: Celebrating Data! What’s next?

18 October 2018

On the 28th of November, the award ceremony for the Dutch Data Prize 2018 will take place in The Hague. Under the name “Celebrating Data! What’s next?” an interesting program for researchers and data supporters has been drawn up.

Around the award ceremony on 28 November we organise a vivid day for researchers, data supporters and data stewards. Even more than in previous years, the award ceremony is embedded in a data management programme. A speaker from the Young Academy sheds light on data sharing. Next, all attendees can participate in break-out sessions about the GDPR, data management training, support and coaching of data supporters, or digital work environments.

The nine nominees for the Dutch Data Award will present their work with posters. At the end of the day three of them receive the award from Stan Gielen (NWO), chair of the jury.

“Celebrating Data! What’s next?” is offered by Research Data Netherlands (RDNL), National Coordinating Research Data Management (LCRDM), the Research Data Working Group, a partnership of the University Library Libraries and the Koninklijke Bibliotheek, the Netherlands Federation of UMCs Data4LifeSciences and the National Platform Open Science. The organizers hope for your active contribution!
