During the online event, Linas Cepinskas, policy officer at DANS, gave a presentation about the FAIR-Aware tool. This online self-assessment tool has been developed to make users aware of FAIR-data and to learn about FAIR-data usage. The entire presentation can be seen on YouTube (start 48:40).
Ingrid Dillo, Deputy Director / Director Policy at DANS, also gave a presentation, together with Barbara Sierman from digitalpreservation.nl. The presentation entitled “A matter of TRUST: principles to keep data FAIR” addressed a set of guiding principles to promote discussions between different stakeholders and to facilitate the implementation of best practices in digital preservation. WeMissiPRES is an online event about international development in the field of digital preservation. Divided over 3 days, #WeMissiPRES discussed the developments of 2019, looked ahead to 2021 and at the same time considered the best initiatives of 2020.
