Together with DANS, LCRDM and the Netherlands eScience Center, SURF is organising the SURF Research Bootcamp from 15 to 18 November.

DANS will work together with 53 partners from 20 European countries on findability and accessibility of data across scientific, medical, public health and policy domains, related to SARS-CoV-2 and other infectious diseases, thus leading to effective pandemic response.

FAIR Signposting offers an online guide for bots looking for scientific output. DANS recently realised an implementation that can serve as inspiration for other scientific repositories. Read more in the latest edition of E-data & Research.

In the new edition of E-data & Research, you can read more about the upcoming launch of the domain-oriented Data Stations by DANS. E-data spoke to director Henk Wals and Data Station Managers Hella Hollander, Ricarda Braukmann, Femmy Admiraal, Cees Hof and Marion Wittenberg.

The magazine E-data & Research, available only in Dutch, is full of success stories about sharing and reusing research data. Soon the October issue will be delivered, this edition is already available via edata.nl.

From September 20 – 23, 2021, the third edition of the Open Science FAIR took place. At this international conference, an initiative of OpenAIRE, various topics around Open Science were highlighted. DANS was also present as an organizer, speaker and participant in several workshops and sessions.

On September 28, the second edition of the DANS Data Trail took place – an online series covering various topics around Research Data Management and Open Science. In this meeting, the road to Open Science and the implementation of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) was on the agenda.

On 29 September from 14:00 to 15:00 CEST, the webinar ‘Assessing the FAIRness of data holdings: Using F-UJI to make your repository more FAIR-enabling’ takes place.
