The SSH Open Competition is ready for a makeover. NWO is thus responding to the need of the research field in the Social Sciences and Humanities to give this instrument more variety in terms of grant amounts and target groups. The NWO Domain Board Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) has decided to expand the opportunities for researchers in the Open Competition and was advised in this endeavour by the six roundtables from the Social Sciences and Humanities domain.
