Subject of the workshop, which will be under the guidance of DANS-representatives Elly Dijk, Peter Doorn and Marjan Grootveld, is the pilot version of FAIRdat, the FAIR data assessment tool. DANS has developed FAIRdat to be able to rate datasets on a scale of 1 to 5 for how well they comply with the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable). In a interactive workshop session participants will able to explore FAIRdat and give input on the development of the tool.
Next to this, DANS also participates in the workshop ‘Open Science Monitor’, of which the subject will be the question: what will be necessary for the development of a reliable, global open science monitor?
