Social Sciences & Humanities Open Cloud (SSHOC), is a project that is funded within the Horizon 2020 Framework Program. The aim of the project is to ensure that initiatives from the current European research infrastructures in the field of Social and Human Sciences (SSH) are better aligned with each other and with the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC), to offer researchers in the SSH domain seamless access to a full and unified panorama of flexible, scalable, relevant data and the services, tools and training required to make optimal use of that data. The project lasts 40 months and started 1 January 2019. DANS participates as a partner within the Consortium of European Social Science Data Archives (CESSDA) and is responsible for two tasks: setting up a data repository service on the EOSC cloud platform and setting up a sustainable cross-disciplinary trainer network and a training the-trainer toolkit in the field of research data management within the SSH. DANS also takes part in a task about certification. Other organizations within the project are the following infrastructures and their partners: Consortium of European Social Science Data Archives (CESSDA) Digital Research Infrastructure for the Arts and Humanities (DARIAH) European Research Infrastructure for Language Resources and Technology (CLARIN) European Research Infrastructure for Heritage Science (E-RIHS) European Social Survey (ESS) Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE) European Value Survey (EVS) Generations & Gender Programme (GGP) Wage Indicator Association of European Research Libraries (LIBER) Duration: January 2019 – March 2019
