Are you a data steward, data manager, or researcher in the heritage sciences? Are you or will you be responsible for managing research data, or do you have to manage research data that are connected to the (museum) collection(s) of your organisation? Do you want to preserve your data in a structured and durable way and make it easily shareable and accessible for others? Then sign up for the Sustainable Data Bootcamp of E-RIHS!
Program
In four intensive and interactive mornings you will learn the basics of sustainable storage, management and accessibility of digital heritage data and analytical research data. You will learn more about metadata, data policy and how the aspects of good data management come together in a data management plan. Under the guidance of two experienced coaches, you get to work with (your) data and your fellow participants. The Bootcamp is partly based on the existing courses of Learning to preserve (NL) and Essentials 4 Data Support (NL).
