This huge number has been achieved thanks to the researchers in the Dutch scientific institutions, the staff of the repository teams and other open science experts working at the institutions.
1 millionth open access publication
The repository team of the library of the University of Amsterdam (UvA) has recently crossed the boundary of one million open access publications! DANS congratulates this team with a box of chocolates for every employee.
More than 286,000 publications of the UvA can be found through NARCIS, of which over 53,000 are open access. For the most part, these are (peer-reviewed) articles, dissertations, book chapters and conference papers.
