By 2020, several steps have been taken on the “stairway to the EOSC heaven”. There are a couple of EOSC projects, an EOSC Association, a website full of documents, a list of services to be included in EOSC, but also a lot of promises remain hidden in the clouds. And which gaps and obstacles do you as a researcher, policy maker or service provider observe or experience?
The workshop that is organised in collaboration with the EOSC Synergy project will feature several speakers providing short updates followed by an interactive session using interactive polling. The speakers are: Ludek Matyska (Institute of Computer Science, Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic), Valentino Cavalli (Strategy and Innovation Officer, EGI), Peter Doorn (Senior researcher and scientific advisor, DANS), Maurice Bouwhuis (Open Science – Research & ICT, SURF) en Ellen Leenarts (Research Data Management Specialist, DANS).
