Since 2006, DANS has issued grants subsidising small data projects (KDPs), i.e. projects in which one or more important datasets are described and made accessible. These grants are intended primarily for those (sub)domains where little data archiving has been done so far, and where a grant might serve as a stimulus to expand the range of archived data.
