Nominations for the Dutch Data Prize extended

12 August 2024

It is still possible to nominate your own dataset or a dataset from an individual or research group for the RDNL Dutch Data Prize 2024. The deadline for nominations has been moved to Friday 30 August.

Every two years, the RDNL Dutch Data Prize is awarded to an individual or team that makes research data FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable). Nominations had been possible since early June. Due to the holiday period running until the end of August, RDNL has decided to extend the nomination period. Nominations can now be made until Friday 30 August.

The Dutch Data Prize will be awarded in three categories: Social Sciences & Humanities, Natural & Engineering Sciences and Life Sciences & Health. In order to have a chance of winning this prize, a dataset needs to be nominated via the RDNL website. Nominations are limited to research led or primarily conducted by research-performing organisations in the Netherlands.

Winners will be announced on 17 October during the FAIR-IMPACT National Roadshow, the Netherlands.
