An inspiring speech, given by Sally Wyatt, kicked off a fruitful morning where service providers and users of scientific IT services met and discussed. The program was initiated by SURF and was held at their office in Utrecht. Research significantly benefits from a proper data- and computing infrastructure, especially extensive research applications that handle large scientific datasets or big data. The meeting sparked mutual inspiration, new insights and successful matches.
