Data without Boundaries (DwB) is a European FP7 project focused on improving the access to statistical micro data from European countries for scientific research.
Various national institutes for statistics of the European Union collect a wealth of information about individuals, households and companies, which is an important source for scientific research. This data is however at present underutilised due to national, legal, technical and cultural boundaries. This project aims to remove these thresholds. The objective is improving access to statistical micro data, whilst simultaneously ensuring the protection of privacy-sensitive data.
