The Digital Preservation Awards celebrate people and organisations over the world for their innovative and important contributions to ensuring long-term access to digital data. Awards are granted in five categories. DANS is also represented in the nominated 4C project and as a member of the NCDD, on the shortlist of the SSI Award for Research and Innovation.

The introductory course ‘Essentials 4 Data Support’ offers data supporters the know-how in supporting researchers in storing, managing, archiving and sharing research data, in order to foster professionalisation and cooperation among data supporters.
