This acronym stands for data that are Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable. Through our work on FAIRsFAIR, we have also been involved in the development of FAIR-enabling tools for researchers and data managers, such as <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/fairaware.dans.knaw.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">FAIR-Aware<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.f-uji.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">F-UJI<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The main training run by DANS on open and FAIR data is a course we developed in collaboration with <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/researchdata.nl\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">RDNL<\/span><\/a>:<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/researchdata.nl\/en\/essentials-4-data-support\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Essentials for Data Support<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The FAIR principles provide a widely adopted framework to support this. DANS supports researchers and data professionals in applying FAIR in practice through training, advice and reusable materials.
