Centerdata<\/strong><\/h2>\n

SDN focuses on the dissemination and sustainable archiving of survey data and the underlying measurement instruments. The knowledge and experience of Centerdata about data collection, documentation and dissemination of survey data is brought together with the knowledge and experience of DANS in the field of sustainable archiving of data.<\/p>\n

CESSDA<\/h2>\n

CESSDA is the Consortium of European Social Science research Data Archives.<\/p>\n

Among other things, DANS has contributed to translating the vocabulary terms from the CESSDA thematic classification. And DANS, together with CESSDA, provides train-the-trainer events on the use of Dataverse as an archive or discovery platform.<\/p>\n

Researchers who want to share or use data also want to know whether the quality and integrity of that data is guaranteed. CoreTrustSeal offers a basic certification for digital archives, making reliability measurable and transparent.<\/p>\n

The archive of DANS is CoreTrustSeal certified. DANS provides one of the four directors of CoreTrustSeal.<\/p>\n

DARIAH<\/h2>\n

DARIAH is short for Digital Research Infrastructure for the Arts and Humanities. Within DARIAH, a ‘digital database’ for alpha scientists in Europe is being realised. Researchers can come to DARIAH for finding data and tools, archiving their data, knowledge exchange and advice on metadata and digitisation. DANS provides the CIO for DARIAH.<\/p>\n

It advocates the sharing of research data and better protection of research investments. E-RIHS<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Material cultural and natural heritage are important components of European identity. The European Research Infrastructure for Heritage Science (E-RIHS) supports research on heritage interpretation, conservation, documentation and management. E-RIHS connects researchers and integrates European facilities into an organisation with a clear identity and a strong cohesive role within the global heritage science community.<\/p>\n

DANS is a member of the Steering Committee of E-RIHS NL. By offering Research Data Management training courses and infrastructural expertise, DANS contributes to the fulfilment of E-RIHS NL in general and the formation of the E-RIHS DIGILAB in particular. DANS participates in Iperion HS and works there to integrate and create the E-RIHS ERIC.<\/p>\n

EOSC Association<\/strong><\/h2>\n

[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.14.7″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]The EOSC Association is the legal entity established to govern the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). DANS joined in the first year of the Association: 2020. The EOSC is created through a series of funded projects and initiatives by the member and associated states.<\/p>\n
