In this way, the digital research data of Dutch archaeologists remain accessible and usable in the long term.\u00a0<span class=\"tlid-translation translation\">Since 2007, archaeologists in the Netherlands have been formally obliged to deposit their data at DANS in accordance with the Dutch Archaeology Quality Standard (KNA)<\/span>. The data is stored in the Data Station Archaeology, and is mainly used by archaeologists, policy makers, companies and culture enthusiasts.<\/p>\n<h3><b>The archaeological collection<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>The aim of the E-depot for Dutch Archaeology at DANS is to sustainably archive and make available archaeological research data and to disseminate knowledge about this. By research data we mean both the data from archaeological research (maps, databases, images, daily reports) as well as the final reports. Research in its widest sense, from surveys to definitive excavation, from specialist research to dissertation. The e-depot is available for all digital archaeological data!<\/p>\n<h3><b>International cooperation<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>By participating in European portals such as\u00a0<a class=\"external-link\" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.europeana.eu\/portal\/en\/collections\/archaeology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Europeana<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a class=\"external-link\" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/portal.ariadne-infrastructure.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ARIADNE<\/a>, DANS ensures better visibility of the archaeological data <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">of the e-depot for Dutch Archaeology<\/span>.<\/p>\n<h3><b>Additional information<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Please <a href=\"https:\/\/dans.knaw.nl\/stel-je-vraag\/\">contact<\/a> Data Station Manager Hella Hollander for more information.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<pre><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a9 DANS.
