SSHOC Launces Training Toolkit

24 April 2020

SSHOC has created a collection of teaching materials and train-the-trainer resources for use by trainers in the social sciences and humanities.

The training material now available through the SSHOC Training Toolkit comes from 41 different training organizations and individual experts across Europe. They include slides, modules, videos, games and other items covering a range of topics from research data management, FAIR data and Open Science to text encoding and quantitative analysis.

An example is the CESSDA Train-the-trainer package that focuses on Research Data Management. Another is a dataset from the Survey of Health, Aging and Retirement in Europe (SHARE) that can be used to train students in quantitative analysis.

The SSHOC Training Toolkit is available to anyone interested in SSH training. DANS participates in work package 6 within SSHOC.
