The CoreTrustSeal Board is seeking input on the intended changes to the Trustworthy Data Repository Requirements for 2023-2025. The survey will be open until 15 April 2022.

Research Data Netherlands (RDNL), the partnership between 4TU.ResearchData, DANS and SURF welcomes Dutch Techcentre for Life Sciences (DTL). In response to last week’s military invasion of Ukraine by Russia we at DANS, institute of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW), join academies in All European Academies (ALLEA) and wholeheartedly underwrite the below statement made by the ALLEA presidency in support of Ukraine, its citizens, its academics, and its academic Institutions. We also emphatically support the Russian academics who are protesting against the military actions of the Russian government.

DANS contributed to the translation of terms available in the CESSDA topic classification. The terms of this and eight other controlled vocabularies published in the CESSDA Vocabulary Service are now available in Dutch.

The datasets Dutch Parliamentary Election Study 2021 (DPES/NKO 2021) and Dutch Ethnic Minority Study 2021 (DEMES 2021) are available through DANS.

The ODISSEI Microdata Access Grant (MAG) Call 2022 is now open. The grant is intended for researchers employed at participating ODISSEI organisations.
