From 6 to 8 October, the WoSSS21 took place. DANS was sponsor and co-organiser of the event. It is now possible to watch the videos of all sessions online.

DataLink is the digital newsletter about sharing and reusing research data. DataLink contains a collection of the latest news items from the DANS website and is published every six weeks.

Wherever research is carried out, questions regarding open access and the reuse of research data come into play. These questions also occur in forensic research. During a Science Café session of the Netherlands Forensic Institute, Cees Hof (DANS) highlighted the role of repositories in making research data Open and FAIR.

On Thursday, December 9, there will be another meeting of the Data Stewards Interest Group (DTL DSIG). This time, DANS will host the meeting and the theme will be ‘Trainings surrounding Data Stewardship’.

These workshops are designed as train-the-trainer events to up-skill data stewards. Topics include research data management, FAIR data, Open Science, responsible conduct of research, and pedagogy and training design.

On 2 December, Ilona von Stein (DANS) will tell more about the updated Wegwijzer Certificering (Dutch) during the NDE Q&A.
