No datasets downloaded with breached data

The online archiving system EASY, which was affected by a data breach, has been accessible again since 31 July. It is clear now that there have been no downloads from EASY and the DANS Data Stations of non-public datasets containing the leaked account credentials. EASY can be safely used again.

These are non-public datasets that require permission from the owner to download the data. This conclusion was drawn after careful analysis including double-check of the use of datasets in EASY and the Data Stations.

To regain access to EASY and the Data Stations, it is necessary to create a new password.
