NARCIS provides scientific information about corona and related research

1 April 2020

More than ever, researchers want to be able to use scientific insights and information from openly accessible publications and research data as quickly as possible. They also need to find relevant experts promptly.

Through its national science portal NARCIS, DANS provides scientific information about the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and related subjects such as epidemiology, virology and crisis management. NARCIS gives access to (open) scientific publications and datasets from universities and other research institutions, including the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM). In addition, NARCIS provides data on experts, research institutions and research projects.

Examples of search strings

Below you will find a number of searches that you can launch in NARCIS. You can, of course, also use your own searches.

Restricting and saving searches

Searches in NARCIS can be restricted using so-called ‘facets’. Publication searches, for example, can be restricted to open access publications, to a type of publication, to a year of publication and/or a specific source. Search results can be saved, for example by creating an RSS feed for search result updates.
