DANS staffs two market stalls at the Open Science Festival

8 January 2021

February 11, NPOS organizes the National Open Science Festival. During this online event researchers have the opportunity to learn about the benefits of various Open Science practices. DANS is also involved.

DANS is represented with 2 digital “market stalls”. In one market stall, an overview is given of DANS new five-year program “Focus on FAIR”. As Dutch national centre of expertise and repository for research data, DANS helps researchers to make their data available for reuse. Marion Wittenberg (DANS) will staff this stand.

The second market stall describes the Horizon 2020 project OpenAIRE, which provides support in various ways, for researchers, among others, to the European Commission’s Open Science policy. DANS, together with the library of the Delft University of Technology, is National Open Access Desk for OpenAIRE. DANS also heads the task force Research Data Management. The market stall is staffed by Just de Leeuwe (TU / Delft), Ellen Leenarts and Elly Dijk (both DANS).
