DANS & CoreTrustSeal

Researchers who want to share or use data also want to know whether the quality and integrity of that data is guaranteed. CoreTrustSeal offers a basic certification for digital archives, making reliability measurable and transparent.

The archive of DANS is CoreTrustSeal certified. DANS is also closely involved worldwide in the development of standards for certification. As a Board member of CoreTrustSeal and partner in various (inter)national collaborations and projects, much expertise is gained in this area.
