19 – 22 October: iPRES 2021

From 19 to 22 October, iPRES 2021 will take place in Beijing. It is the 17th edition of the international conference on digital preservation. DANS will also contribute.

The theme of this international conference on digital sustainability is: Empowering Digital Preservation for the Enriched Digital Ecosystem. It will be the first ever hybrid iPRES: it is possible to attend both in Beijing and online. The conference is hosted by the National Science and Technology Library (NSTL) and the National Science Library of Chinese Academy of Sciences (NSL).

Contribution DANS

On 22 October from 13:00 – 14:30 CET, Linas Cepinskas (DANS) will give the lightening talk ‘Towards making your repository more trustworthy and FAIR-enabling‘. The lightning talk is interesting for data managers, data professionals and policy makers who are concerned with long-term digital preservation and FAIR-enabling practices.
