Science Europe presents the Practical Guide to the International Alignment of RDM

Research funding organisations, research organisations, and individual researchers have different needs and requirements when it comes to research data management (RDM). Science Europe’s latest publication, the ‘Practical Guide to the International Alignment of Research Data Management’, aims to align these RDM requirements across research funding and research organisations in Europe.

February 14: Love to share data - open day on open science

Visit the DANS open day on open science on February 14, 2019. Together with the Young Academy of the KNAW, Promovendi Netwerk Nederland and the Horizon 2020 project OpenAIRE, DANS organizes this afternoon about research data management, data archiving and data re-use. The day is specially organized for (young) scientists and data librarians.

Blogpost: OCLC Research Mini-Symposium on Linked Data - Hanging Together

OCLC organised a 'mini-symposium' on Linked Data in the OCLC Leiden office on 19 November, 2018. 43 staff members from a range of Dutch academic libraries, cultural heritage institutions, the National Library, the National Archive, the Institute for Sound and Vision and OCLC colleagues based in Europe were brought together to discuss how Linked Data meets interoperability challenges in the online information environment. DANS awards grants to six Small Data Projects

This round the awarded projects are from a variety of disciplines, ranging from African Linguistics to Ecology and Digital Humanities. A Small Data Project (KDP in Dutch) receives a maximum of 10.000 euros.
