This project is carried out in collaboration with KNAW’s eHumanities group. ‘The network of excellence in the science of internet’ aims at strengthening the scientific and technological premium quality by gaining an insight into internet networks and their cohesion with society. The main objective is to bring about an open and fruitful dialogue between all disciplines studying internet systems from a technological or humanities viewpoint. It also analyses the transformational effect of research activities based on internet in different disciplines, with special emphasis on the social sciences and humanities.
